Parsa Arbab received his Master degree in Urban and Regional Planning in 2009 and completed his PhD in Urban Planning in 2015, from the University of Tehran. He is currently a faculty member of the School of Urban Planning at the University of Tehran and works as a researcher and lecturer of undergraduate and postgraduate courses of Urban Planning. His main research interest is “Environment, People, and Place” including the following areas:

Carola Neugebauer studied landscape architecture and urban design in Germany and France. She is Associate Professor at the RWTH Aachen University. Taking up an interdisciplinary, comparative stance on cities, her research focuses on urban transformations, planning and cultural heritage in Central Eastern Europe.

Eskandar Mokhtari is a PhD. D. holder in Art Research (in architectural conservation), Between the years 1994 through 2004 he assumed deputy-presidency of the department of Preservation and Rehabilitation of Historical Monuments under Tehran Cultural Heritage Organization. Following the incursion of Bam earthquake(2004), he was the director of Recovery Project of Bam’s Cultural Heritage (up to 2010), and also the manager of the historical site and monuments of Tehran between the years 1996 to 2010. His published legacy so far exceeds 53 articles in specialized periodicals and journals pertaining to preservation and restoration of historical edifices, history of architecture, and Iranian urbanization. One of the latest literary works of him is compilation of a book, named “The Heritage of Iran’s Modern Architecture”.

Civil engineer and doctor of architecture (Czech Technical University in Prague: Faculty of Architecture, Ph.D., specialization: Theory of architectonic works – industrial heritage; Faculty of Civil Engineering, majored in hydraulic structures and water-resources management). Hoda Sadrolashrafi graduated in architecture at Politecnico di Milano . She also obtained a master of Architecture and Museum Design for Archaeology ,Strategic Design and Innovative Management for Archeological Heritage. As an architect she has worked for Italian and Iranian leading offices.Since last year she has started practicing architecture at her office . She has extensive experience in teaching and tutoring at University of Tehran,Soure, Sapienza, Politecnico di Milano,Accademia Adrianna .Currently she is visiting professor at Art university of Tehran. She is member of DOCOMOMO -Iran and Engineering Organization of Tehran.

Her research focuses on post-war Architecture and interrogates the material production and professional structures of the architectural field.
